We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Extensive Support Needs Education Specialist (previously Moderate/Severe). The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who require significant support and a strong commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Selected candidates may be contacted to provide individualized instruction, implement functional academic and life‑skills programming, and support students in achieving their IEP goals.

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with extensive support needs.
• Design and implement functional academic and functional life‑skills programs.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to support student IEP goals.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Possession of a valid California Education Specialist Instruction credential in the subject matter of the posting.
• Authorization in Extensive Support Needs highly desirable.
• English Learners Authorization.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

• Copy of Transcript – include BA/BS transcript and all post‑Bachelor’s transcripts showing degrees awarded (unofficial copies accepted).
• Recommendation Letters – three current letters dated within the last two years.

$71,571 to $103,136 per year (full‑time). Part‑time assignments will be prorated.

• Pay dependent on experience.
• Applicants with two or more years of full‑time K‑12 public school experience start at step 3 (maximum starting step).

2026–27 School Year – 186 Days
