The dynamic and comprehensive master of occupational therapy program (MOT) prepares students for successful careers as occupational therapists such as in healthcare, mental health, rehabilitation, or community-based settings. Students are trained to become culturally conscious practitioners through an occupation-centered model that equips them to better serve their clients and communities. The occupational therapy master’s degree curriculum combines hands‑on academic instruction with the flexibility of online courses.

Graduates leave with the knowledge and skills to be competent, innovative health professionals who meet the occupational needs of diverse individuals and support a variety of physical conditions through service and transformative healthcare.

Description:


Applicants to this position will be considered for a candidate pool encompassing one or more of the subject areas outlined in the job description. This pool will be used to identify qualified candidates for potential appointments during the 2026–2027 academic year.

Salary Range:$28 - $32 hourly (based on course requirements & level of education). This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum of a master’s degree awarded by an institution that is accredited by USDE required. Doctoral Degree preferred or equivalent terminal degree from an USDE accredited college or university;
Qualified candidates who are studying for a doctoral degree may be considered.

Experience:

  • Applicants must demonstrate expertise in any of the following areas:
    Pediatric occupational therapy practice, psychosocial occupational therapy practice. Minimum 2 years clinical experience.

Documented current expertise in assigned areas of teaching responsibility. Adequate years of experience in the areas involved in assignments; documented potential in the areas of facilitating learning, scholarship, and service, as applicable to assignments; and if appropriate, a record of meritorious performance of the duties and obligations of instructor

All faculty who are occupational therapy practitioners and teaching occupational therapy content must be currently licensed or otherwise regulated in the state or jurisdiction as an occupational therapist.
