Overview
City Tree Christian School is a wonderful community of teachers, staff, and families working together to educate our children in a loving Christian environment. We are a ministry of First Presbyterian Church committed to integrating educational excellence with the Bible-based teachings of Jesus Christ. We are an ethnically and socio-economically diverse school located in downtown San Diego. About 200 students attend our school-age infants through eighth grade.
Our school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
- Support teachers in infant and preschool classrooms as needed.
- Be dependable, mature, and responsible, integrating a love for Christ with teaching young children and collaborating with other teachers to create an outstanding learning environment.
- Preschool operates on a year-round calendar.
- Preschool teacher must have or be working toward a minimum of 12 core ECE units including infant/toddler.
- Child Development Certificate and/or Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Child Development is preferred.
- Experience with children required.
- Job Type: Part time
- Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 /hour depending on education and experience
- 1 position available in August 2026
