Home Maintenance Repair – Adjunct / Substitute Instructor (Non‑Credit)

• Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines; teach all scheduled classes.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance and grading.
• Implement a learning environment that encourages discussion of ideas, interests, and issues.
• Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part‑time or temporary faculty member.
• Be available to students outside of class.

• A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution AND two (2) years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught, or
• An Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution AND six (6) years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught, or
• The equivalent of the above, with documented cultural competency, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds of continuing education students and staff.

• Submit official college transcripts.
• Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Examination, renewed every four years.
• Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at the district’s expense (clearance must be received prior to first day of employment).
• Present original documents proving eligibility to work in the United States.

All applicants must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to understand the diverse backgrounds of community college students, faculty and classified professionals.
