Position Type:
Adjunct (part‑time, temporary). Pay is based on official transcripts and certification. Positions may be offered at any of the three campus locations and various continuing education centers.

• Provide instruction in accordance with the established curriculum and course outlines.
• Teach all scheduled classes, including lecture and lab sessions as assigned.
• Be available to support students outside of class.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold professional conduct and ethics.
• Keep current knowledge in subject areas and foster a learning environment that encourages discussion.

• Degrees must be from accredited institutions.
• Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution AND at least two (2) years of professional experience directly related to the assignment area.
• Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution AND at least six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the assignment area.
• California Community College Instructor Credential in Legal Assisting (valid for life) is preferred.
• Foreign degree holders must obtain a professional equivalency evaluation from a NACES or ACEI member and submit the evaluation copy.

• Submit official transcripts.
• Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam (renewable every four years).
• Undergo a Live Scan fingerprinting clearance.
• Present original documents proving eligibility to work in the United States.
