Lead Instructor

code Campus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor in the San Diego area for the upcoming school year.

As a Lead Instructor, you will:

• Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area
• Lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Teach students in grades K-8th
• Demonstrated experience in music production, audio engineering, or music theory, with proficiency in standard Digital Audio Workstations including Garage Band, Logic, Pro Tools, or comparable

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately
• Available to work from the current school yearand beyond
• Available Monday to Friday
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Willing to go through our professional development training program
• A background in performing, composing, or mentoring youth in musical environments

The hourly rate for this position is $25/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
