Job DescriptionThe San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Food Services Field Support Specialist.

The Food Services Field Support Specialist will Prepare specifications for equipment, supplies, and paper goods and define procurement requirements; coordinate repair and maintenance of cafeteria equipment and facilities; monitor equipment safety and sanitation; develop and coordinate program publicity materials and reports; conduct assigned special projects.
Vacancy / Position Specifics- This Promotional Opportunity is open only to current classified monthly-salaried employees (not hourly) of the San Diego Unified School District.

Food and Nutrition Services Department. 6735 Gifford Way, San Diego, CA 92111. - The District covers a large portion of San Diego County. 12 months per year / 40 hours per week. - Salary:
This position is paid on the OTBSSalary Schedule. Grade 48. To view the Salary Schedule, . - Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.
Education and Experience
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in business, institution management, school food service management, dietetics, or a related field and one year of recent experience in quantity food production and service management.
