About the RoleWe’re hiring part-time Special Education Teacher Aides to support K–5 students with disabilities in Central San Diego area. providing tailored support to ensure their academic, social, and emotional growth. You’ll work closely with staff and families to foster inclusion, encourage positive behavior, and help students thrive in an
What You’ll DoProvide individualized support to 1–3 students with special education needs.
Ensure student safety and engagement in program activities.
Assist with assignments, study skills, and learning tools.
Use positive reinforcement and structured behavior management.
Collaborate with staff and families to implement student support plans.
What We’re Looking ForAt least 3 months of experience working with children with special needs
Strong communication, patience, and positive reinforcement skills.
Ability to adapt to varying student needs and maintain composure under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent (education students encouraged to apply).
Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.
CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed).
Work ScheduleRegular
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, generally between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with flexibility to start as late as 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM.
Schedule:
Work on an as-needed basis, with up to 30 hours per week, depending on staffing and scheduling needs.
