About the role
As an Assistant Instructor, you will:
- Work on site with company, district, and site staff at our partner schools in the area.
- Lead STEAM projects/activities for students grades tK-8 using our proprietary curriculum.
- Collaborate with code Campus site Lead Instructor to ensure programming runs smoothly on site
- Support in ensuring all student health, safety, and educational needs are met in accordance with district and company protocols.
- Additional duties as assigned.
This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
- Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately
- Available to work from the current school year and beyond
- Available from:
Tu/Th 8:30am.
- 3:10pm Wednesdays 8:15am - 12:15pm, and Fridays 8am - 12:15pm - Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
- Exceptional communication skills
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Willing to go through our professional development training program
The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
