Youth Leader Sub

We are currently looking for a part-time (PM shift) candidate to sub at a variety of school sites throughout San Diego, CA.

Job Complexity:

• Supervise day-to-day activities of youth in the program
• Lead enriching activities such as interactive games and arts & crafts
• Uncover new and engaging ways to assist youth with homework
• Provide assistance/coverage at multiple locations throughout San Diego

Minimum

Competencies:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have 6 months experience in either an after school program OR group child care setting
• Must have 48 completed college units OR pass the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam ( a basic math and literacy test )
• Must have a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
• Ability to travel throughout the county with the flexibility required to meet job duties

Compensation:

• Starting Rate: $22.25 per hour (all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience)
• Benefits includes a 403b retirement plan plus match, and CA Paid Sick Leave in addition to hands-on training, virtual courses, and live presentations.
