This is a part-time role for Tutors & Subject Experts at Huntington Learning Center - Carmel Mountain, located in San Diego, CA. Tutors will be responsible for providing individualized instruction to students based on their unique needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting tutoring sessions both in-center and online, preparing lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Tutors will also communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's academic performance and areas for improvement.
NowHiring for Part-Time Positions in:
- Math (Pre-Algebra to Calculus)
- Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Weekend availability preferred:
Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Teaching certification (preferred)
- Strong foundation in core subjects
- Great communication & ability to adapt to diverse learners
- Must be local to the San Diego area and able
- Ability to create and implement personalized lesson plans
- Patience and a passion for helping students succeed
- Experience with online tutoring platforms is a plus
- Paid training & curriculum support
- Experience with a nationally respected organization
