Pay: $57–$77/hour, based on experience

Platinum Therapy is seeking a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to support a third-grade student at a TK–8 charter school in San Bernardino, CA
.

• $57–$77/hour based on experience

• Full-time temporary assignment through December 2026

• Opportunity to make a direct impact supporting a student

• Clinical and professional support from the Platinum Therapy team

• Mileage reimbursement for eligible travel over 30 miles

• Position: DHH Teacher

• Location: San Bernardino, CA

• Setting: In person

• Schedule: Full time

• Assignment: Temporary through December 2026

• Population: TK–8

• Student: One third-grade student

• Start: ASAP

• Provide DHH services and educational support to the assigned student

• Address the student's communication, educational, and access needs

• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and the educational team

• Support classroom access through accommodations, consultation, and appropriate strategies

• Assist with communication access and implementation of DHH-specific services

• Participate in IEP-related activities and collaborate with the IEP team

• Maintain accurate documentation and service records

• Provide guidance and strategies to support the student's educational success

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with DHH authorization or another appropriate California credential/permit

• Bachelor's degree or higher

• DHH teaching experience preferred

• Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, communication access, and school-based special education

• Experience supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

• ASL proficiency is a plus
