As the Curriculum Developer II
- Computer Science you will play a key role in developing and refining educational materials that will inspire and train the next generation of great problem solvers. At the Curriculum Developer II level, you will contribute to a variety of curriculum projects while continuing to build your skills as an educational content developer.

The Curriculum Developer II
- Computer Science will:

• Develop new courses and other educational materials
• Improve existing materials based on student and teacher feedback
• Incorporate feedback from team members and other stakeholders into their materials
• Review and provide feedback on materials created by other team members
• Participate in the onboarding, training, and development of interns and entry-level curriculum developers
• Build their understanding of the students within their target audience, the people who will deliver their content, and the purchasers of their content; this may include teaching courses, if relevant
• Complete other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned

The ideal candidate has:

• A bachelor's degree in a field closely related to computer science, with an advanced degree a plus
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience teaching computer science and/or developing computer science educational materials, ideally including some experience at the K-12 level
• Strong computer science content knowledge
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate complex computer science concepts into clear, engaging, and understandable content
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong creativity, with the ability to develop original problems and puzzles
• A readiness to seek out and learn from feedback
• Passion for education

Since 2003, we have trained hundreds of thousands of the country's top students, including nearly all the members of the US International Math Olympiad team, through our online school, in-person academies, textbooks, and online learning systems. While our primary focus has been math for most of our history, through the years we have expanded our unique problem solving curriculum into more subjects, such as language arts, science, and computer science.
