Our flagship Med Tech Essentials Suite is an eight-module program spanning Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Data Management, Reimbursement, Marketing, and Cross-Functional Collaboration. We are now building on that foundation with Virtual Apprenticeship programs — a new model for entering and advancing in Med Tech careers without relying on who you happen to know.

The Contract Instructional Designer will design and develop engaging, outcomes-focused eLearning experiences for Med Tech professionals, with a primary focus on building our Virtual Apprenticeship programs.

Our Education Specialists provide the scripts and subject matter foundation. You bring the creative direction, the authoring craft, and the instincts that keep learners engaged. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating scripts into storyboards and interactive learning activities, building digital learning assets in Articulate Storyline and Vyond, ensuring alignment with stated learning objectives and industry standards, integrating content into our learning management system, and refining materials based on learner feedback and performance data.

You will also contribute to needs analysis and curriculum structure as programs take shape.

This is a contract, fully remote role requiring proactive communication, efficient time management, and the ability to work independently against project timelines.

Initial six-month engagement, October 2026 through March 2027. Our entire team builds around day jobs, so schedules are flexible — the work happens evenings and weekends by design.

Mind Grove is in its earliest revenue stage. We offer two deferred compensation structures: all hours are tracked at $72/hour and paid once revenue begins, and consultants are eligible for stock options. Candidates should be comfortable with a deferred payment model before applying.

• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Vyond is required; experience with Rise, Captivate, or comparable authoring tools is a plus
• Strong instructional design skills, including applying adult learning principles and designing interactive, learner-centered content
• Experience in training and development — creating and supporting programs that measurably improve job performance and skill acquisition
• Curriculum development experience, including structuring multi-module learning paths and aligning content to competency frameworks
• Working knowledge of learning management systems, including organizing, deploying, and tracking online courses
• Basic multimedia production skills (audio, video, graphics)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail and quality assurance in learning materials
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely in a contract capacity, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with a distributed team
