We are looking for an experienced Industrial Specialist to drive Industrial Hygiene (IH) programs at the client’s site as the Shirley Parsons Onsite Consultant. The client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer, and the site is a laboratory-based research and development facility.

The Role:

• Work onsite at the client facility with the site EHS Leader to take responsibility for industrial hygiene activities at the facility.
• Develop and utilize roadmaps and action tracking to drive continuous improvement and measure performance.
• Bring the site up to Corporate industrial hygiene standards and grow the effectiveness of programs.
• Ensure the work product meets Shirley Parsons’ and the client’s expectations through the capabilities of vendor onsite support oversight and collaboration with applicable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of industrial hygiene experience.
• Knowledge of State & local (San Diego) specific requirements.
• Strong background and knowledge of assessing risk for both chemical and biological exposure
• Self-management and organizational skills to prioritize, meet deadlines, and organize efforts
• Strong familiarity with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, NIH guidelines, and other applicable standards.
• CIH preferred.
