Senior Principal Robotics Process Engineer
Join our fast‑paced and passionate team as a Senior Principal Robotics Process Engineer.лива You will be instrumental in building our foundation from the ground up, working on cutting‑edge technologies, collaborating with leadership, and developing engineering practices that support our mission and growth. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role for a self‑starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment.
Base salary range: $165,000 – $225,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Work independently and in a team while over‑communicating with the manager and teammates. Mentor junior engineers.
- Execute complex engineering tasks involving planning, preparation, data collection and analysis, and decision‑making in a process involving peer reviews and documentation.
- Use tenacity, patience, self‑discipline and passion for excellence to assure accuracy of execution schedule, data quality/integrity, conformance to company best practices, and clarity in communication and documentation.
- Grow competency through mentorship, curiosity, communication, exposure, and initiative.
- Drive innovation in modeling, design, analysis, and alignment methods to support the product roadmap.
- Perform alignment system architecture trade studies with complex and interdependent performance requirements.
- Support business development with architecture concepts, feasibility analysis, and white‑paper writing.
- Support project engineering with scope, schedule, and risk analysis.
- Access to export‑controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a_ENGINEERING-related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a startup or technology company.
- Demonstrated successful execution of engineering tasks using mechanical CADizielle and quantitative analysis/programming tools, instrumentation, measurement, part fabrication or procurement, integration and test, data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Demonstrated successful execution of automated test or component alignment using robotics, machine vision, or electrical test equipment for photonics alignment.
- Demonstrated successful execution of an engineering project to perform complex photonics alignment using robotics and automation.
