Security ClearanceApplicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD)
SECRET security clearance.
As a Senior Operations Analyst you will help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. This is accomplished by:
- Analyze processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations and decrease time and cost spent on efforts.
- Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules.
- Interpret and analyze policies, rules, regulations, or laws to organizations, government officials, and employees.
- Confer with program personnel to discuss issues, coordinate activities, resolve problems, set strategy, and accomplish objectives.
- Report project status, such as budget, resources, technical issues, and compliance to programs.
- Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans and processes.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet program schedules.
- Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering.
- With a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum of 10 years of professional experience related to supporting a US Navy program, OR without a bachelor's degree: minimum 15 years of professional experience related to labor category AND experience supporting a US Navy program.
- Experience with Navy programs with small combatants.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field OR preferred Years of Experience.
