Internship - EUV Droplet Generation - System Function

Your Assignment

As a Summer Intern in Droplet Generation System Function Department Engineering, you will be working within a multidisciplinary team participating on complex engineering activities of significant technical depth related to multiple phases of the product development, including technology pathfinding, theoretical and experimental feasibility studies, design and development activities, integration and validation testing.

System Function development at ASML starts with understanding the functional requirements and deriving specifications. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, technicians and system architects in a multidisciplinary project team to develop concepts, perform engineering analysis, build and test prototypes, create documentation, research notes, and support system integration and testing.

The specific project will be focusing on piezo actuators attached to the droplet generator capillary. During this internship project impedance measurements will be conducted under various conditions. The internship project starts with a theoretical study of a certain part of the Droplet Generation module or function, which is followed by a practical application, analysis or experiment. The project concludes with a research summary listing the findings, recommendations and opportunities to follow up.

Your Profile

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Mechanical with controls or automation, any other technical
• Knowledge or experience using applied physics, precision design, data analysis, metrology, controls, or experiment design.
• Knowledge or experience with diverse vacuum and gas pressurized equipment
