We are looking for you to join our team as a Digital Hardware Design Engineer on site in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, integrate and test digital circuit card assemblies for our end-user customers and businesses, primarily focused on software defined radio application
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams, such as with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test
• Analyze system concept of operation, requirements and design documents to resolve functional, performance or timing issues.
• Manage the specifications for PCB stack-up, layout and route, and thermal techniques for adherence to guidelines and standards. Basic Qualifications for a Principal Electrical Digital Design Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or another STEM degree from an accredited institution and 5+ years of engineering experience; OR +3 years of engineering experience with a STEM Master's degree or 1+ years of experience with a PhD.

* Must have active SECRET clearance to start

* Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills and be able to work independently and within groups.

* Candidate must have working knowledge of formal engineering development process for digital circuit cards supporting an FPGA System on a Chip.

* Must have experience using the Electronic Design Automating (EDA) tool Siemens Xpedition.

* Candidate must be knowledgeable in typical techniques to ensure good PCB signal integrity. Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Electrical Digital Design Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or another STEM degree from an accredited institution and 8+ years of engineering experience; OR +6 years of engineering experience with a STEM Master's degree OR 4+ years of engineering experience with a PhD.

* Must have active SECRET clearance to start

* Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills and be able to work independently and within groups.
