Senior Bridge Engineer PE

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Bridge Engineer to contribute to challenging high-profile infrastructure projects across Southern California.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teams of engineers and technicians in producing drawings and calculations, and supervise, coordinate, and review the work of other engineers.
- Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Perform structural analysis, design, evaluation, and prepare calculations and drawings.
- Prepare standard documents such as technical specifications, engineering reports, and other technical documents under applicable design codes.
- Research and review design options for technical and financial impact.
- Liaise with other professionals, clients, and third parties as needed.
- Conduct bridge inspections, load rating analyses, seismic evaluations, and retrofit/rehabilitation studies.
- Provide support during construction, including submittal reviews, site visits, and other responsibilities as required.
- Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and registered as California PE (or able to obtain within 12 months).
- Minimum of 10–15 years of related experience in Bridge Design, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with structural design codes such as AASHTO and exposure to structural analysis software (e.g., SOFiSTiK, CSiBridge, MIDAS, LARSA).
- Proficient with engineering software such as Excel and Mathcad for producing calculations.
- Knowledge of parametric conceptual designs; experience with Grasshopper and Dynamo is beneficial.
- Competitive salary (Base compensation: $103,200–$159,600 for San Diego). Additional compensation based on education, experience, skill set, and location.
