* Flexible Paid Time Off plan with no cap or "use it or lose it" requirement

In your application, include your resume and a thoughtful cover letter explaining why you are the ideal candidate for this position. We are looking for a long-term, in-house teammate to join us, not a contractor or consultant.

In this position, you will

* Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and Sustaining Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

* Use your engineering background to anticipate future manufacturing needs and proactively develop systems and processes ahead of demand - not just react to current challenges

* Oversee the development and execution of manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards

* Analyze existing manufacturing processes and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs

* Act as a liaison between the Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering departments and other teams including Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on goals and objectives

* Apply engineering judgment to tackle sourcing challenges, working directly with Supply Chain to develop durable solutions

Your background

* Seasoned engineer with proven experience in a leadership position within a Manufacturing Engineering team

* Track record of creating and implementing forward-looking solutions to engineering and manufacturing problems - including predicting needs before they become bottlenecks

* Able to review and understand a tolerance stack using statistical tolerancing

* Capable of mechanical measurement by common contact and non-contact methods

About you

* Off-the-cuff thinker, able to reason through failure on the spot

* Dynamic and strategic leadership skills with an aptitude for anticipating problems rather than reacting to them

* Flexible and adaptive, with the ability to implement changes rapidly amid changing priorities and circumstances

* Highly proactive and communicative - able to align stakeholders across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain

* At home on the production floor and in the machine shop, with a joy for making and building
