Position: New Product Introduction Engineer

Job Description
  • Lead bench validation and characterization activities for RF/mmWave IC products across full PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) conditions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive silicon validation plans for mmWave/RF transceivers, beamformers, radar ICs, connectivity ICs, or related high-frequency products.
  • Perform hands‑on RF/mmWave measurements using laboratory equipment.
  • Drive bench‑to‑ATE correlation and production test readiness.
  • Support ATE sampling activities and collaborate with test engineering teams on production test optimization.
  • Work closely with design, DFT, product engineering, reliability, quality, and manufacturing teams to debug silicon and improve product performance/yield.
  • Lead or support:
    Device qualification, Package qualification, Reliability stress testing, HTOL/HAST/uHAST/TC/ESD/LU execution and data analysis.
  • Support NPI phase gates through engineering builds, qualification, pilot production, and volume production release.
  • Analyze production/yield data and drive continuous improvement initiatives through statistical analysis and DOE methodologies.
  • Correlate yield trends with WAT/PCM data and process variations to identify root causes and yield enhancement opportunities.
  • Support failure analysis activities and corrective/preventive actions with internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate with overseas SAT/OSAT service providers and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth qualification and production ramp.
  • Drive test time reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and coverage.
  • Participate in review boards including:
    Product readiness reviews, Qualification reviews, Yield reviews, Production release reviews.
  • Generate clear technical reports, characterization summaries, qualification reports, and production documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • BSEE required; MSEE preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in NPI, product engineering, validation, characterization, or test engineering.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with RF and mmWave IC bench validation and characterization.
  • Solid understanding of:
  • RF/mmWave measurement techniques
  • Production test methodologies
  • Statistical data analysis
  • Reliability testing
  • Experience debugging silicon issues and correlating lab/ATE/manufacturing data.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow including wafer fab, assembly, and test operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability, and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Advantest V93000 (93K) ATE platform is a strong plus.
  • Experience with mmWave/RF products in technologies such as, CMOS, SOI, SiGe BiCMOS.
  • Experience with: SAP, Arena PLM, Jira, JMP, MATLAB, Python scripting/coding.
  • Experience designing or supporting HTOL/reliability load boards.
  • Experience working with overseas SAT/OSAT service companies.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Yield enhancement techniques
  • DOE (Design of Experiments)
  • WAT/PCM correlation analysis
  • GR&R and measurement correlation methodologies
  • Familiarity with package technologies including QFN, FCBGA, WLCSP, or antenna‑in‑package solutions is a plus.
