Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking experienced professionals to support the navy’s large enterprise networks. These roles will support critical engineering, technical, and programmatic efforts in alignment with PEO Digital, PMW 205, and NIWC Pacific requirements. Team members will work on the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of Navy IT systems, including modernization efforts such as cloud infrastructure and network convergence. Positions require collaboration with government and contractor personnel in a dynamic environment with both CONUS and OCONUS responsibilities.
Backup& Storage Engineer (Level III and IV)
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and resilience within The Navy’s Large Enterprise Networks.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise backup and storage systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Implement data protection strategies, including automated backups, replication, and archiving solutions.
- Optimize storage performance, capacity planning, and lifecycle management across hybrid environments.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including STIGs, RMF, and data encryption standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage and backup issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to align storage solutions with overall IT modernization efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT professional experience.
- Compensation: $105,100 - $164,125
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 14+ years (Bachelor’s) of relevant professional experience.
- OR Master's Degree and 10+ years.
- Compensation: $127,100 - $198,575
- Expertise in enterprise storage and backup management.
- Strong problem‑solving skills for performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of DoD data management and cybersecurity requirements.
- Must have a Secret clearance.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Experience with storage and backup platforms such as Net App, Veritas, Pure Storage, or Dell EMC.
- Hands‑on experience with data replication, deduplication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-based storage architecture and hybrid storage integrations.
- Proficiency in automation tools for backup and storage management.
