As a Healthcare Design Manager in our San Diego, CA client office, you’ll function as a team leader for a major healthcare project and be responsible for design management during the Construction Administration phase. You will coordinate directly with the design team and design assist general contractor and subcontractor trade teams, and be responsible for ensuring the quality of design documentation developed during the CA phase.
You will review RFIs, ACDs and NMAs, as well as submittals as needed, and ensure RFI responses and post-approval documents are complete, accurate, coordinated and constructible. You will work directly with OSHPD’s ACO, RCO, FLSO and DSE. You will manage the implementation of a series of major ACD’s, which are the result of a recent design and constructability review. You will be part of a larger team representing the healthcare system owner that is managing the overall program and may support other aspects of the program as well, as needed by the team.

Qualifications- Bachelor or higher degree in Architecture, licensed architect preferred
- 10+ years of experience working in the architecture or planning industry
- Excellent knowledge of all phases of project development from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Experience with OSHPD 1
- Attention to detail, with depth of understanding of contract document coordination and technical aspects of project development.
- Masters degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
