ENGINEER, STAFF II- POST SILICON VALIDATION

Job Description

This person shall be responsible for post silicon validation / Chip verification on BT (Bluetooth) chips , developing and executing test plans, help trouble shoot bugs with S/W and H/W design teams. Run driver and H/W qualification suites and create documentation for test suites and test results.

The candidate should be familiar with Digital oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer, Digital Bus analyzers, Power measurements tools. We operate on all three major platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac) and expect the candidate to be fluent on at least two.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills, verbal and written and should be able to work independently, and follow directions. Undergraduate Electrical Engineering Degree Requirements:
Requires a BS degree and 6 years of experience plus training or an MS degree and 3 years of experience plus required training or a PhD and no experience.

• Basic communication theory

• Operation of bus analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power measurement tools ,spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment

• Circuit theory & ability to read schematics

• Experience in chip validation

• Knowledge of Bluetooth (BT) and/or Wireless LAN system is a big plus

• Experience with industry available standard test tools for RF and Wireless LAN systems

• Nice to have experience with

• Linux command line tools

• Scripting using python or perl etc..

CANDIDATE DETAILS

5+ to 7 years experience

Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
