Sr Hardware Engineer

Position Summary

Electronic Test and Rework Engineer - Responsible for evaluating battery and electronics designs, performing testing, troubleshooting, and rework on medical wearable devices. Requires on-site presence.

• Collaborate with R&D Electronics Team to evaluate electronics designs and select battery vendors.
• Demonstrate expertise in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and precision rework including board cleanliness, 0201 reworks, cut trace, and flying lead reworks.
• Operate oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and current analyzers; perform current draw analysis, RF testing, temperature chamber and profile programming.
• Define, report, and analyze test plans and results to cross-functional teams.
• Support special rework or manufacturing steps to enable device production.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5-8 years related experience;
  Master’s with 2-5 years or PhD with 0-2 years.
• Minimum 5 years in electronic test and debug (ideal). Experience with design-for-reliability (DFR), design-for-test (DFT), design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-cost (DFC) for high-volume products.
• Medical device development experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
