We are a technology firm creating in‑house software, network, and hardware solutions that support our mission of advancing warfighter capabilities with elegant, user‑focused communications, networking, and computing systems.

About this role:

Do you thrive in innovative, design‑driven environments with a high level of both accountability and trust? Are you passionate about delivering elegant hardware and software solutions designed with the operator in mind and the right amount of engineering rigor? If so, this role will support the agile development of innovative communications, networking, and computing solutions for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead electrical power architecture development for tactical communications and embedded computing systems
  • Experience with schematic capture and electrical CAD tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Solid Works Electrical, or similar
  • Design and analyze AC/DC and DC/DC power distribution systems for rugged military environments
  • Develop system‑level power budgets, grounding strategies, and load analysis for integrated systems
  • Design and support power conditioning, filtering, protection, and EMI/EMC mitigation solutions
  • Support electrical integration of networking, communications, compute, and RF subsystems
  • Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface documentation
  • Support PCB and chassis‑level power integration activities with cross‑functional engineering teams
  • Perform power integrity, thermal, and fault analysis to ensure system reliability and compliance
  • Support design reviews, prototype integration, qualification testing, and production transition
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to define and procure electrical components and assemblies
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis during integration and environmental testing
  • Support compliance activities for MIL‑STD‑704, MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑810, and related military standards
  • Mentor junior electrical engineers and support technical task prioritization across multiple projects
We are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 8–12+ years of experience designing and integrating electrical power systems
  • Strong understanding of embedded power systems, power conversion, and power distribution architectures
  • Experience designing systems for military, aerospace, maritime, or ruggedized applications
  • Strong understanding of grounding, bonding, shielding, and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
  • Experience with schematic capture and electrical CAD tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Solid Works Electrical, or similar
  • Experience performing power analysis, load calculations, and thermal considerations for electronic systems
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and protection mechanisms including fusing, circuit protection, and transient suppression
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving hardware integration and system‑level electrical issues
  • Experience supporting prototype builds, qualification testing, and manufacturing transition
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within integrated product teams
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Nice to have:
  • Experience with VPX, SOSA, OpenVPX, or tactical communications architectures
  • Experience supporting airborne or maritime platforms
  • Experience with battery systems, UPS design, or power redundancy architectures
  • Familiarity with processor‑based embedded systems
  • Experience supporting Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT)
  • Active Secret Clearance
