Senior Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Architect data converter solutions to meet diverse application requirements, focusing on state-of-the-art multi‑GHz sample rates and bandwidth.

• Develop and implement calibration algorithms for digitally assisted analog circuits.

• Design challenging transistor‑level circuits.

• Collaborate with internal and external customers, working across multiple sites and teams.

• Prepare effective design documents and conduct engaging design reviews.

• Guide layout, evaluation, and test engineering teams.

• Mentor other design engineers.

• M.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering.

• 20+ years of experience in CMOS design.

• Proven track record and technical expertise in high‑speed data converter design, including pipeline ADC, SAR ADC, or current‑steering DAC architectures.

• Intimate understanding of time‑interleaved data converters.

• Experience designing a wide range of circuits such as wide‑bandwidth amplifiers, comparators, switched‑capacitor circuits, precision voltage and current references, and LDOs.

• Experience with Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.

• Signal processing knowledge is a strong plus, particularly as it relates to calibration algorithms.

• Experience with MATLAB for behavioral modeling.

• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a large team.

Shift: 1st Shift/Day.

Salary range: $184,030 to $266,485, varying by location, experience, and other factors.
