At Sogitec, you will be:

Head of Studies Department, you will be integrated into the Simulation Materials Department within the Simulation Business Division. You will be the head of a service of about fifteen people bringing together the necessary skills for the work of:

• Study, design, and development of materials respecting the requirements of reliability, maintainability, regulation, standards, and prevention of occupational risks;

• Design of software strongly linked to materials (firmwares, automations…);

• Description, for all materials, of the constraints of implantation and interfaces in buildings;

• Definition and realization of tests of material prototypes;

• Analysis of project needs and identification of solutions allowing to keep the schedules. (Ex: subcontracting of activities) ;

Your main missions will be:

· Management of teams:

o Participate in the recruitment of new employees;

o Manage the people assigned to the Service hierarchically;

o Maintain, pilot, and promote skills;

· Supervision of the operational realization of technical activities:

o Ensure the respect of the cost/performance/deadline triptych in relation with project managers;

o Business strategy interlocutor for "make or buy";

o Quality management: respect of business rules, force of proposal concerning the evolutions of practices;

· Technical expertise:

o Provide technical expertise to the people of the Service;

o Animate the technical watch, the management of obsolescences, and the permanent search for innovation;

o Participate in the drafting of technical proposals and the elaboration of quotes;

o Participate in the design reviews of Sogitec systems and products;

Work location:

Suresnes (92) with trips to our clients in France and abroad

Today you are:

· Graduated from a higher education engineering generalist or equivalent, you have knowledge in electricity/electronics and possess a strong industrial culture and mastery of relations with subcontractors.

· You have significant first experience in the management of a Design Office, ideally in the field of electronic/electrical systems;

· You have good knowledge of CAD software

· You are able to invest in the understanding of technical or functional problems, and share your solid skills in problem-solving;

· You are dynamic, autonomous, calm, rigorous, versatile, and endowed with excellent interpersonal skills;

· You have excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage priorities effectively;

· You have a good level of English, both orally and in writing.
