Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation of mixed‑signal circuits and/or products in the field of Power Management. Determines architecture design and circuit‑level specifications based on system‑level requirements and is actively involved in all aspects of the design from system definition/simulation to circuit design and simulation. Heavy involvement in overseeing layout and silicon evaluation is also expected.

Required expertise in one or more engineering disciplines:

• power electronics (switch‑mode and linear)
• control theory
• precision oscillators
• high‑accuracy data converters and analog front ends
• high‑bandwidth linear amplifiers
• very‑low‑power references
• electro‑migration and transistor reliability
• behavioral modeling and UVI techniques

Uses design tools such as Cadence ADE, Math Works MATLAB, Verilog/VerilogAMS, System Verilog, and others. Provides technical expertise for next‑generation initiatives and uses tools/applications to execute the architecture and design of an individual block per specifications and requirements. Executes design and verification strategies of PMICs for the assigned part of a block with supervision from a technical lead. Guides layout engineers to generate and physically verify circuit layouts, runs functionality checks on a single block, and reports performance results to the team lead.

Masters Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field plus five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation is acceptable.
