The role involves writing code for mission behaviors, platform-specific control, and multi-agent coordination.
Engineers own the development process from initial software-in-the-loop simulations to live test exercises and field operations. The position requires close collaboration with internal autonomy and perception teams, as well as external platform integrators and vendors. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving integration issues across complex autonomy stacks and embedded systems. Additionally, the role supports mission readiness through hardware and software configuration, data capture, and on-site testing.##
Required Qualifications and Skills Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or possess equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of related experience is required depending on the level of degree held. Proficiency in C++ and Linux-based development is necessary, along with experience in embedded systems and IPC frameworks.
Applicants must be capable of obtaining a SECRET clearance and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills. Hands-on experience with field testing or simulation environments for autonomous systems is also required.
