Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing reliability staff and projects in support of bio‑pharmaceutical and aseptic filling operations. The role includes reporting reliability program metrics to executive management, mentoring staff, administering reviews and performance appraisals.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day reliability activities.
- Ensure staff activities are supervised in accordance with tactical plans.
- Train and mentor technical and supervisory staff on best practices.
- Review department output for customer service and compliance.
- Provide in‑depth technical review of all documents and reports.
- Travel between facilities to support all functional areas.
- Interface with and direct outside contractors, oversee equipment installation.
- Lead and maintain professional behavior reflecting positively on the company.
- Embed Aji Bio‑Pharma’s cultural values and align daily actions with department goals and company culture.
- Maintain reliable attendance on a full‑time basis as posted.
- Follow up with staff and keep work tasks on track.
- Results‑oriented approach to reliability engineering.
- Direct and provide expert knowledge in the day‑to‑day function of reliability engineering.
- Identify, recruit, and retain top‑notch talent.
- Champion company culture and empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
- Co‑achieve, mentor, engage, and develop the team, including onboarding of new employees and career development planning.
- Set performance standards and encourage employee engagement and results through delegation, continuous feedback, goal setting, and performance management.
- Maintain transparent communication through department meetings, one‑on‑one meetings, appropriate email, and regular interpersonal communication.
- Provide oversight and direction to employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- 3 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Understanding of plant and equipment reliability preferred.
- 4 years of cGMP experience preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with Process Mechanical Systems including facilities and utility equipment.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical systems and processes.
Base salary hiring range: $119,600 – $149,500, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by factors including experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
