We’re looking for a highly skilled Project Manager, New Product Introduction (NPI) to join our team and lead the transition of our disruptive technology from design and engineering to commercial production.

Labs is focused on accelerating metal additive manufacturing adoption and enabling new applications with our patented Electrochemical Additive Manufacturing (ECAM) processes. Since closing our Series B funding round, we are rapidly expanding our team to advance and commercialize products enabled by our novel technology.
- Drive new product development and introduction projects from initial concept through design, production ramp, and successful commercial launch.
- Lead and manage cross‑functional NPI teams, facilitating collaboration between Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure products are designed for manufacturability (DFM).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and resource plans specific to the NPI process and critical phase‑gate reviews.
- Communicate project status, manufacturing readiness levels, risks, and updates to stakeholders, highlighting critical path items for production scale‑up.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues and challenges related to manufacturing scale‑up, developing effective risk mitigation strategies for smooth mass production.
- Develop and implement standardized NPI processes, procedures, and documentation (e.g., build plans, run‑rates, quality checks) to improve project efficiency and repeatability.
- Work in a fast‑paced and ambiguous environment in which you are required to establish clarity and drive decisions that push the project forward toward manufacturing readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering).
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role, with a focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) or product development lifecycle management in a hardware or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience successfully achieving project objectives in an ambiguous and fast‑paced environment, specifically related to bringing a product to market.
- Strong organizational skills while also being able to operate in an ambiguous startup environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain principles and practices.
- Direct experience managing both waterfall and agile projects, ideally within a structured Phase‑Gate or product development process; including demonstrated competence in various project management software tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Trello, etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Growth mindset, extreme accountability, and self‑motivation to succeed in this role.
- Experience working in a high‑tech hardware company and/or additive manufacturing technology company.
- MBA and/or Master of Engineering.
- PMP, CPPM, or similar Project Management Certificate/Certification; or specific certification in NPI or product lifecycle management.
