Our Southern California team is growing, and we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Bridge Engineer to contribute to challenging and high‑profile infrastructure projects across the region. You will work closely with your Technical Director and Project Managers alongside our customers on some of North America’s most significant projects.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead teams of engineers and technicians producing drawings and calculations along with supervising, coordinating, and reviewing the work of other engineers
- Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets
- Perform structural analysis, design, evaluation and be responsible for the preparation of calculations and drawings
- Prepare standard documents, such as technical specifications, under applicable design codes along with engineering reports and other technical documents
- Research and review design options for both technical and financial impact
- Liaise with other professionals, clients, and third parties as needed
- Conduct bridge inspections, load rating analyses, seismic evaluations, and retrofit/rehabilitation studies
- Provide support during construction, including submittal reviews and site visits and perform other responsibilities as required

On top of that, you will:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, be registered as California PE in the home state or can obtain within 12 months of employment, and with a minimum of 10‑15 years of related experience in Bridge Design, or an equivalent
- Be familiar with the use of structural design codes such as AASHTO along with having sufficient exposure to structural analysis software programs (ex: SOFiSTiK, CSiBridge, MIDAS, LARSA)
- Be conversant in the use of engineering software such as Excel, and Mathcad to efficiently produce engineering calculations
- Be knowledgeable in parametric conceptual designs, the use of programming environments like Grasshopper and Dynamo would be beneficial
