Responsibilities- Prepare civil engineering designs, plans, reports, and technical documents.
- Support land development projects from planning and entitlement through construction.
- Assist with grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and site development design.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Prepare and review construction documents and project deliverables.
- Assist with project schedules, budgets, proposals, invoices, and change orders.
- Attend project meetings, agency meetings, and client meetings as needed.
- Respond to plan check comments and agency review comments.
- Support project managers and senior staff with technical design and coordination.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
- Mentor and support junior staff or designers as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 4+ years of civil engineering and land development experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and site development design.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and internal teams.
- Experience preparing construction documents and technical reports.
- Knowledge of Southern California agency standards and permitting processes is a plus.
- Experience with healthcare, higher education, civic, commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed‑use developments is a plus.
