RATT Lead - Amphibious; Steam Team

Sayres is seeking an experienced RATT Lead – Amphibious (Steam) Team in San Diego, CA with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.

The Steam RATT Lead provides expert assessments of steam propulsion plants, engineering operations, and maintenance programs aboard amphibious ships.

• Lead steam propulsion readiness assessments.
• Evaluate plant operations, maintenance execution, and engineering performance.
• Identify readiness risks and corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to ship leadership and Government stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and readiness recommendations.

• Minimum 15 years of Navy engineering supervisory experience.
• Extensive EOOW, PPWO, Chief Engineer, or equivalent steam plant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Navy steam propulsion systems and maintenance processes.
• Experience supporting TYCOM, ISIC, ATG, or maintenance organizations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 25+ years highly desirable.

Support is primarily based in San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to Navy fleet concentration areas including Everett, WA;
Pearl Harbor, HI;
Sasebo, Japan;
Yokosuka, Japan; and Singapore, as well as other customer locations as required.

$90,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
