Electrical Engineering Technician – Engineering Services Industry

Location:

San Diego, CA, 92121 | Fully onsite.
Pay range: $23.00–$26.00 per hour.

Shifts:

Monday – Friday, standard office hours.
Duration:
Temp to hire.

• High school diploma or GED minimum required
• 2–6 years of experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, prototyping, R&D, or cleanroom environments
• Experience building wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
• Proficient in soldering and electrical assembly work
• IPC J-STD-001 or IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification preferred

• Assemble, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Perform precision soldering and electrical testing using multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Support prototype builds, test, and validation activities
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs
• Aid in material procurement, inventory management, and shipping preparation
