We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician 3 to support the development and testing of innovative sensor technologies within a cutting-edge Research & Development environment. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with scientists and engineers to build, test, troubleshoot, and characterize prototype devices that contribute to life-changing medical products used by patients worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional with laboratory, engineering, or manufacturing experience who enjoys solving problems, working with advanced equipment, and contributing to product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform electrochemical testing and characterization of prototype sensor technologies.

* Build, inspect, assemble, and test prototype devices and engineering samples.

* Conduct bench-top experiments and support engineering development activities.

* Collect, analyze, and accurately document experimental data and results.

* Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and testing equipment.

* Perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure reliable operation.

* Support engineering builds, inspections, and validation activities.

* Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, chemicals, and components.

* Assist with equipment setup, laboratory organization, and daily lab operations.

* Utilize Excel and data management tools to record, organize, and report testing results.

* Follow all safety protocols while working with chemicals, laboratory equipment, and prototype automation systems.

* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and other technicians.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes, documentation, and laboratory operations.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* 4-6 years of experience in an engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, R&D, or technical support environment.

* Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining laboratory or manufacturing equipment.

* Hands-on experience with testing, inspections, engineering builds, or prototype development.

* Experience collecting, documenting, and maintaining accurate experimental records.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry/reporting tools.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience conducting electrochemical characterization and sensor testing.

* Experience in a medical device, biotechnology, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.

* Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing equipment.

* Experience handling chemicals and operating within laboratory safety requirements.

* Exposure to sensor development, electrochemistry, or product development environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
