A respected and growing consulting engineering firm in Southern California is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Water/Wastewater team in San Diego. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of municipal infrastructure projects, supporting local agencies and communities throughout the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys managing projects, working directly with clients, and contributing to meaningful water infrastructure improvements.
- Design and deliver water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure projects.
- Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Support pipeline, pump station, reservoir, treatment facility, and conveyance system projects.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Assist with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
- Support the preparation of proposals and business development efforts.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Experience with utility design, hydraulic analysis, or municipal engineering projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
