Level II UT; NDT Techician

Overview

Tri-State NDT is a technology company that mainly tests heating and cooling systems primarily in the Tri-State area.

Established in Staten Island in 1986, Tri-State's technicians use various non-destructive testing techniques, mainly Eddy Current Tesitng on chillers . We are seeking a technican who at times can perform Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and or Liquid Penetrant Testing. This is work primarily work within a commutable area.

We are seeking an Ultrasonic Testing Technician with hands-on experience in Phased Array Inspections, as well as MT and PT of welds. The ideal candidate must be within commuting distance from NYC and be able to work independently in the field, testing a multitude of structures. You should be an independent thinker who can decide on the best testing method for detecting flaws in various types of structures and weld configurations .

We are looking for someone organized, focused, reliable, punctual, with great attention to detail and in good physical condition. You will be performing work each day throughout the New York/New Jersey area, with occasional work in Conneticut.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

• Non-destructive testing: 3 years+
• Proven experience as a Level II UT (NDT) Technician with strong knowledge of ultrasonic testing methods.
• Familiarity with ASME codes & standards
• Attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly.
