This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements and performs the complex responsibility of the design, development and automation systems architecture, for security systems on embedded mobile platforms, on Android and Windows OS. Responsible for Test Framework development for testing SW modules within Secure Processor. This involves developing test applications for verifying Crypto algorithms, NVM operations, communication with modem and application processors, Virtual Memory, UEFI, Sensors, counter measures or attacks etc.
Debug SW issues identified during the secure processor testing and propose SW changes to fix the issues. Create test plans to cover all the SW requirements for each SW module within the secure processor. Develop applications to test integrated-SIM (iSIM) on the secure processor. Develop test libraries and release them to SIM vendors to provide Java card OS with required SW Libs.
In addition, release the SW Libs to the ETSI groups for their review and publish them in new specification versions so that the industry can adapt what the Qualcomm team is developing to promote the iSIM products. Develop SW to evaluate KPIs for telecom operations with iSIM on the secure processor. Develop test frameworks for different secure processor architectures. Develop test framework for testing 5G modem with iSIM on secure processors.
Lead design and development of multiple features, responsible for planning, scheduling, and assigning tasks to other team members. Plan and implant wide array of tests. Design and develop apps and automation tools for teams within Qualcomm. Maintain, debug, and optimize automation programs. Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for updating existing applications. Develop tools and tests for a certified security system.
Windows Support for the SPU - Migrate and lead the development of test toolchain and libraries from a Linux developer environment to Windows (C/C++), to allow the Qualcomm SPU to be integrated into laptops. Common Criteria EAL-4+ Security Certification – throughout the certification process, developing a rigorous verification and testing methodology and plan, to allow the Qualcomm SPU to be integral to TPM, iSIM, etc.
Work on pre and post silicon devices. Familiar with Embedded System. Responsible for on-target testing to meet the commercial quality milestone. Develop Atomic AI Agents for analyzing iSIM and eSIM logs and generating UICC and sTPM KPIs to improve team efficiency. Act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings and communicates and implements a development plan.
Will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and four (4) years of experience in a related occupation. In lieu of the Bachelor's Degree requirement, the employer will accept two (2) additional years of related work experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
