Position: BOILER PROGRAM SUPPORT MANAGER with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will implement the management plan for effective support to both NAVFAC Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) and Public Works Directorates.
* You will participate in the development of the assigned program goals, objectives, and uniform processes necessary for effective execution of program requirements.
* You will participate in the development and dissemination of Navy-wide policy and criteria in all areas involving the assigned program.
* You will develop and present components of periodic Inspector Training/ Workshop. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain required certification and/or license as a condition of employment.
* You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 through GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Integrates the BUPV Program functions and services into the organizational structure of the SYSCOM;
2) Ensures areas of overlapping responsibilities for program management, technical & engineering services, and customer requirements receive proper consideration with other programs and technical authorities;
3) Displays mastery of practical and technical knowledge based aspects of electronic, electrical, fire, water chemistry, metallurgy, hydronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems relating to BUPV design and construction;
4) Possess extensive knowledge and practical experience of United States and Foreign National Life Safety Codes to determine the design and certification requirements that will be applied to all types of BUPV in all Naval Facilities;
5) Performs liaison and coordination functions in complex relationships with senior levels of civilian and military command personnel, federal enforcing authorities, industry representatives, safety code committees, architectural/engineering firms, and construction contractors to ensure uniform processes across the Navy Shore Establishments Boiler & UPV Program which is necessary for effective execution of program requirements, and
6) Performs concepts and practices of community management and the ability to develop and conduct specialized Boiler and UPV Program training for certifying officials, design and engineering professionals, project managers, and contracts oversight personnel which is essential to administer a formal Boiler & UPV Community Management and Training Program.
