Senior Transportation Project Manager – (194371)
The Senior Transportation Project Manager (Municipal) will lead the planning, execution, and completion of transportation projects ranging from small to large multi‑discipline projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and manage all aspects of projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and scope control.
- Coordinate engineering teams and balance workload throughout project development.
- Maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Represent the firm in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
- Lead design development sessions and contract document production with cross‑functional staff.
- Track project financials and adjust work effort to meet schedule and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller, and area managers for project reviews.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Experience with grade separations, BRT, and Caltrans highway projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or Micro Station) and ability to train others.
- Experience using Civil 3D, InRoads, or Civil 3D.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10 years related experience.
- Minimum 5 years project management experience.
- Professional Engineering license recognized in the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
- MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience a plus).
- Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
