General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego is seeking a Gas Free Technician to ensure safe work in confined spaces by performing atmospheric testing in accordance with NFPA, NAVSEA, and 29 CFR 1915.
The role supports safety leadership, calibrates gas-free testing equipment daily, and communicates with ship managers to uphold a total safety culture. Candidates must hold Shipyard Competent Person, OSHA 1915 Maritime Safety, and PAI certifications and be able to obtain DBIDS access.
