Volt is immediately hiring for an Entry Level Mechanical Design Engineer in San Diego, CA.
As an entry level Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
- Create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product design
- Can cover one or more of composite disciplines; electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software and display, This position is aimed at the maintenance of Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product design
This is a Full-Time Temp to Hire opportunity.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm plus overtime as needed. Must be able to work onsite every day.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree of Science in Engineering with a 2.8 minimum GPA with 1 year or more of experience
- The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of engineering drawings and drafting software programs, i.e. Auto Cad or Cero.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in working in a manufacturing environment or specifically with gas turbine control systems is a plus
- Knowledge of Oracle or other database tools is a plus.
Pay Rate: $30.00-$32.00 Per Hour DOE
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
