# Land Surveying CAD Technician – Land Surveying DepartmentBWESan Diego, CA Full-Time $35,000 – $87,000/yr Posted 13 days ago## About This Role We are currently seeking a Land Surveying CAD Technician with a minimum of one (1) year of Civil 3D experience with field experience is a plus. This position is responsible for developing survey construction stakeout and other survey related drawings utilizing AutoCAD/CIVIL3D, receiving field data, and transforming them into working drawings, existing conditions base sheets, and finished drawings.

The Survey CAD Technician will work under the direction of a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. The successful candidate will have a desire to work in a productive team environment, have effective oral and written communication skills, and professional appearance and demeanor. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and pass a background check.

Duties & Responsibilities
*** This position is responsible for understanding and completing drawings in accordance with supervisor direction and industry survey standards.
* Creating a preliminary and/or final sketch of proposed drawings, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.
* Modifying drawings as directed by supervisor.
* Work closely with other surveyors and engineers to insure a coordinated product.
* Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary.
** Experience
* * Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience preferred in civil engineering design or surveying and the following skills:
* Advanced knowledge of AUTOCAD
* Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD/CIVIL3D
* Experience with drawing setup and scale usage
* Experience dimensioning, labeling, and plotting
* Experience in processing field data files
* Strong work ethic
** Estimated annual salary range is $35,000 to $87,000 based on level of experience and ability.
