CAD​/Mechanical Designer​/Drafter

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to support gas distribution and underground infrastructure projects. This role will focus on developing detailed engineering designs and construction drawings that enable Project Managers and engineering teams to successfully execute pipeline and underground utility projects. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD experience and a background in pipeline, gas distribution, or underground infrastructure design.

• Develop mechanical and pipeline design drawings for gas distribution projects.
• Create detailed construction drawings to support field installation and project execution.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers, and Mechanical Designers throughout the design process.
• Produce design packages for underground infrastructure and high-pressure gas systems.
• Develop and maintain isometric drawings as required.
• Incorporate mechanical components and equipment into project designs.
• Support design revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
