Group Leader – Water​/Wastewater

We have an opportunity for a Group Leader to drive water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the San Diego region. This role offers the chance to build and lead a growing practice within an award-winning firm, cultivate key client relationships, and benefit from a performance-based rewards system with potential for ownership.

• Lead the water/wastewater engineering team, helping grow the practice across San Diego and beyond.
• Manage treatment, pumping, and conveyance projects, including large-diameter water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure projects meet technical standards, timelines, and profitability goals.
• Review engineering designs and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
• Work closely with clients, internal teams, and local agencies to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed PE.
• 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater.

• Total Compensation: $220,000–$260,000 including a top-tier incentive-based bonus program (up to 200%).
