The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in San Diego, CA in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and coordination of building electrical systems across a variety of markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing electrical plans and specifications, performing load calculations, and designing power distribution and lighting systems in alignment with project requirements and codes. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, communicating with clients and project stakeholders, and supporting sustainable and energy-efficient design strategies.

The Electrical Engineer will also assist in reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and providing technical support during construction to help ensure quality and performance.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering, with a solid understanding of building systems and industry standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including preparing drawings, specifications, and calculations for building projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including design, analysis, and coordination with utility services.
• BA in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field;
  PE licensure in California is required.
• Three to five+ years of experience required.
• Experience in consulting engineering or building design, ideally in sectors such as healthcare, education, or commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, local building codes) and proficiency in CAD/BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to sustainable, energy-efficient design and ongoing professional development in emerging technologies.
