** Principal Duties and Responsibilities
*** Leverages deep security knowledge and experience to achieve highly critical engineering business objectives.
* Develops new hardware and software security features and updates existing products; ensures the security of all products is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
* Serves as a technical expert performing advanced security assessments and evaluations of company products, including vulnerability and risk assessments and threat analysis, to identify potential design and implementation vulnerabilities.
* Develops highly critical security architectures and solutions for products and subsystems and leads cross-organizational teams to adopt and implement them.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*
* • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.
OR  Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.
OR  PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.###
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 7+ years of Security Engineering experience or related work experience.
* 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, System Verilog, etc.## ###
** Level of Responsibility:
*** Makes significant decisions that affect work beyond the immediate team.
* Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information; may require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
* Influences product architecture and features.
* Performs tasks that often require multiple steps that can be completed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization are required to complete tasks effectively.
